“The 1999 is an exquisite, expansive golden hued wine, with orchard fruit, crushed stones and acacia and heather honey on the nose. The palate is wonderfully textured, with a profound richness of citrus, dried apricots, hazelnut and salinity balanced by poised acidity; the combination of which mean this wine has at least a decade of life, if not more ahead of it.
