This was Planeta’s first venture on Etna. The third vintage adds a little Riesling, producing an exuberant and youthful Carricante. A fresh mineral style for a wine due to the volcanic soil and the altitude; this is grown at 870 metres above sea level, and a viticulture which is extreme but fascinating.
An extraordinary companion for dishes based on fish of a certain oiliness and thus ideal for any gastronomic experience encountered by the sea.
